Girl Develop It Philly and Mogulette are joining forces to bring some of the most talented, savvy and passionate women in Philly together for a night of mixing, mingling and celebration. Join us over drinks and light fare for networking and getting to know more about members and programs from each of these amazing communities!
About Mogulette
The Mogulette program is centered around educating, mentoring, and empowering women, with a focus on women of color, ages 20-25, who are interested in careers in entrepreneurism within the technology sector.
With a particular focus on women of color, Mogulette offers a speaker series where women are able to share personal stories, advice, and strategies and contacts, to ultimately help program participants develop skills to better navigate the tech industry. Lastly, Mogulette will pair its young entrepreneurs with local mentors to create a pipeline to entrepreneurism, with the end goal of creating a stronger tech sector in the region.
About Girl Develop It Philly
Girl Develop It Philly is the region's largest and most active technology meetup — with nearly 3,000 members and more than 10 meetups happening across the city per month. A nonprofit, GDI Philly empowers women from diverse backgrounds with web and software development skills through in-person, judgment-free classes. Through classes, study groups and social events, GDI Philly also provides community support to help beginners at every stage on their journeys to learn to code.
