Join us to celebrate the amazing Los Angeles women in tech community that Girl Develop It has built over the past two years. Hear brief remarks from some incredible students, instructors, and volunteers whose lives have been impacted by their involvement with GDI and mingle with community members who've supported the growth and success of Girl Develop It!
By the numbers, we've grown to a community of over 1700 members, 20 instructors, 137 volunteers and we've held over 100 events including classes, social events, study groups, and mentoring nights.
What's the best way to commemorate those achievements and our 2-year milestone? By throwing a party of course!
Join us on the 37th floor of the Gas Company Tower downtown on Sunday, March 20th for a night of celebration. All are welcome - bring along family, friends, and colleagues. Get dressed up or come as you are to share a toast with us - to the accomplishments we’ve all made as a community! We'll have food, drinks, games, a photobooth, talks from our community, and more!
And we're inviting local, hiring companies to join us - so there will be plenty of opportunities for networking and engaging with the LA tech commuity!
All proceeds from the event will go toward Girl Develop It programming and scholarships to help women, including underrepresented and unemployed women, take our classes to further their careers.
