Hear brief remarks from some of our incredible members whose lives have been impacted by their involvement with GDI and mingle with community members who’ve supported the growth and success of Girl Develop It throughout our three years.
By the numbers, we've grown into a community of 600 members locally, 10 instructors, 25 volunteers and have held more than 80 events including classes, informational talks, happy hours and Buffalo's first all-women hackathon!
What's the best way to commemorate those achievements and our 3-year milestone? By throwing a party of course!
Join us at the Liazon Office, March 29th, for a night of celebration. All are welcome - bring along family, friends, and colleagues. Get dressed up or come as you are to share a toast with us - to the accomplishments we’ve all made as a community! We'll have food, drinks, testimonials from our community, and more.
We're inviting local, hiring companies to join us - so there will be plenty of opportunities for networking and engaging with the Buffalo tech community!
We highly encourage you to sign up for the Lightning Talks and share with us something that you're passionate about. Lightning Talks are usually short (5 mins) and can cover anything from the best way to tie your shoelaces or your favorite coding trick. Signup here
All proceeds from the event will go toward Girl Develop It programming and scholarships to help women, including underrepresented and unemployed women, take our classes to further their careers.
