Girl Develop It Cincinnati has just crossed the three year mark of providing affordable, hands-on instruction to Tri-State women wanting to learn how to code. We're over 1,000 members strong and have hosted over 60 events in our three years - there's a lot to celebrate!
This celebration is also an opportunity for us to fundraise for our chapter so that we can continue to grow and succeed for years to come. All proceeds from this event will go towards GDI Cincinnati programming and scholarships for women - including unemployed, underemployed, and underserved women - to take our classes.
There will be employers, current and former students, GDI Cincinnati staff, and major tech sponsors & supporters at this event so there will be plenty of opportunities for networking and engaging with the Cincinnati tech community.
Each ticket includes heavy appetizers, cake!, non-alcoholic drinks, two cocktail tickets for beer or wine (cash bar available thereafter), swag bags, and free raffles of goodies from GitHub, The Skimm, and Girl Develop It. We'll also have Girl Develop It Cincinnati t-shirts available for sale at the event.
