Join us in celebrating the amazing Indianapolis-based women in tech community that Girl Develop It has helped build up over the past two years. Hear brief remarks from some incredible students, instructors and volunteers whose lives have been impacted by their involvement with GDI, mingle with community members who’ve supported the growth and success of Girl Develop It throughout the last two years, and learn about what's next for GDI in 2017!
By the numbers, we've grown into a community of over 800 members locally, 15 instructors, 50 volunteers and have held 64 events, including classes, informational talks, and happy hours.
What's the best way to commemorate those achievements and our 2-year milestone? By throwing a party of course!
Join us at Salesforce on Wednesday, January 25, for a night of celebration. All are welcome - bring along family, friends, and colleagues. Get dressed up or come as you are to share a toast with us - to the accomplishments we’ve all made as a community! We'll have food, drinks, testimonials from our community, as well as an exciting raffle with opportunities to win GDI swag, coding books, prizes from businesses in Indy, and more.
We're inviting local companies to join us - so there will be plenty of opportunities for networking and engaging with the Indianapolis tech community!
All proceeds from the event will go toward Girl Develop It programming and scholarships to help women, including underrepresented and unemployed women, take our classes to further their careers.
