Since its inception in 2014, GDI Minneapolis has hosted nearly 100 tech related events and taught close to 1,000 students. In the past year alone, the Minneapolis chapter has grown to over 1,300 members, generated 40+ active volunteers, added a new Front-End Developer Series, and formulated the GDI Minneapolis Leadership Team and Advisory Committee.
On Friday, August 19th, join GDI’s members, teachers, sponsors and supporters to toast to two years of tech education and the amazing women who make it all possible. All are welcome - bring along family, friends, and colleagues.
Attendees have the opportunity to enjoy raffle giveaways, photo booth entertainment, appetizers/drinks and networking, while supporting a great cause. Proceeds from the event will fund programming initiatives and scholarships to help women including underrepresented and unemployed women, take our classes to further their careers.
