GDI Colorado is turning 5!
Since 2013, GDI Colorado has hosted nearly 170 tech-related events and welcomed close to 2,400 members. GDI Colorado was the 16th chapter to join a nationwide movement to empower women by providing affordable and judgment-free opportunities for women interested in learning web and software development.
On Saturday, June 23rd, join GDI’s members, teachers, sponsors and supporters to toast to five years of tech education and the amazing women who make it all possible. All are welcome - bring along family, friends, and colleagues.
Your $20 ticket gets you in the door where you will have access to:
• A great networking event with activities for everyone
• Food & drinks
• Amazing swag (limited edition GDI Nalgene, sunglasses and tote bags!)
• A chance to enter our drawing where you could win tech books, free GDI classes, Bose headphones, CodePen memberships, and even a Rachio!
• An opportunity to speak to some of our sponsors
• GDI organizers, teachers, and volunteers
• Re-connecting with your fellow classmates
Proceeds from the event will fund programming initiatives and scholarships to help women including underrepresented and unemployed women, take our classes to further their careers. In the last year, we provided scholarships for 41 women to attend classes.
Donations are accepted on the ticket page with the option to select the donation amount.
Every $5 donated provides scholarship money for 1 hour of education for a student.
