LadyHacks follows the model of a civic hackathon, which emphasizes creating projects for the greater good. We encourage teams to check out our projects page for ideas or begin working on concepts to present on Friday night. This year's theme will be a focus on health and wellness.
LadyHacks is a community event for women* of all skill levels to work collaboratively on projects using technology to provide solutions. Beginners and the tech-curious are especially encouraged to attend, as are experienced technologists who are interested in sharing their knowledge and skills while working on projects that they are passionate about.
Please note that this is not an overnight event! Unfortunately, there is not a clear way to indicate that on the ticketing page. For details on the schedule, please see our schedule page. Meals will be provided (please note any dietary restrictions when you register).
LadyHacks is organized and run by a team of dedicated volunteers. We do charge a small entry fee of $15 to participants. One hundred percent of this admission fee will be donated to Girl Develop It, a nonprofit organization that exists to provide affordable and judgment-free opportunities for women interested in learning web and software development.

* LadyHacks acknowledges the complicated nature of the word “women,” knowing it may not work for many, and can feel unwelcoming or alienating for some. We recognize the imperfection of language, and we use * to specifically and intentionally include cis women, trans, genderqueer, intersex, and queer people who identify as women.
