Website Weekend brings together website builders of all types of levels to create websites for nonprofit organizations. In 2013, we brought together 53 volunteers who buildt websites for seven different nonprofits. We're looking to build on that success in 2016!
We will bring in nonprofit organizations doing great work in the local LA community and pair them up with teams of digital professionals. Then over the course of a weekend, these teams will collaborate and build something amazing for their organization that will help them grow their outreach and positively impact how they contribute to the community.

Website Weekend is a community event for people of all skill levels to work collaboratively on projects using technology to provide solutions. Beginners and the tech-curious are especially encouraged to attend, as are experienced technologists who are interested in sharing their knowledge and skills while working on projects that they are passionate about.
Please note that this is not an overnight event! Unfortunately, there is not a clear way to indicate that on the ticketing page. For details on the schedule, please see our schedule page. Meals will be provided (please note any dietary restrictions when you register).
Website Weekend is organized and run by a team of dedicated volunteers. We do charge a small entry fee of $15 to participants. One hundred percent of this admission fee will be donated to Girl Develop It, a nonprofit organization that exists to provide affordable and judgment-free opportunities for women interested in learning web and software development.
